Ben B. Ussery. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were T.R. Griffin, James Griffin, Larry Felts, Wilson Felts, Jack Miller and Jerry Miller. Felts, 66, died Tuesday morning in his home after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Mae Miller Felts and a son of John B. and Mrs. Annie Hines. He was a retired farmer and a member of Boykins Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are two sons, William C. Felts of Philadelphia and Frederick W. Felts of Annapolis; a daughter, Miss Jeanette Felts of Falls Church, two brothers, William Thomas Felts of Phoenix, Md., and Joseph T. Felts of Boykins; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie F. Griffin of Boykins, Mrs. Lina F. Beck of Detroit, and Mrs. Annie F. Whitehead of Murfreesboro, N.C.; and a grandchild.
