He was a native of Southampton County and an employee of Ivor Oil Co. He was a Baptist and the husband of Mrs. Edith Brittle Felts and the son of Mr. & Mrs. Edgar M. Felts of Ivor. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Patsy F. Chapman of Chuckatuck, Va.; a son, D. Wayne Felts of Ivor; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Atkinson of Portsmouth, Va. and Mrs. Wilson Griffin of Dolphin, Va. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, 3 P.M. in Purviance Funeral Chapel in Wakefield. Burial will be in the Ivor Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Leslie C. A funeral service will be held today at 3 pm in Purviance Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Russell Leonard, the Rev. J.W. Horne, and the Rev. Ed Griffin. Felts, 52, was held last Thursday at the Purviance Funeral Chapel. He died June 25 in Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was employed by Ivor Oil Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith B. Felts of Wakefield; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy F. Chapman of Chuckatuck; one son, Wayne Felts of Ivor; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Felts of Ivor; two sisters, Mrs. John Atkinson of Portsmouth and Mrs. Wilson Griffin of Dolphin; and two grandchildren. The Rev. Russell Leonard and the Rev. J.W. Horne officiated. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.
