RICHARD HENRY FELTS 

   Funeral services for Richard Henry Felts of the Ivor community, who died 
Saturday afternoon at a Norfolk hospital, were conducted Monday afternoon at 
2:30 o’clock in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, by the Rev. Gordon L. Price, 
pastor.  Burial was made in Tucker Swamp Cemetery.

   Active pallbearers were Edgar M. Felts, G.C. Powell, R.H. Cook, J.D. 
Armstrong, L.T. Saunders and Arthur Clayton.  Honorary pallbearers were R.E. 
Stewart, B.H. Lane, T.L. Bain, W.C. Rawls, C.A. Holt, J.H., W.T., B.F. and 
W.A. Felts, William Jameson, Alton Jones, R.H. Pulley, T.C. Marchant, Percy 
Bradshaw, Paul Clayton and Ashby Brantley.


Richard Henry FELTS, of Ivor, farmer, 
Southampton Co. native, d. 27 Feb 1933, Norfolk, age 53, 
interred in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery*, 1 Mar 1933, 
"The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), Mar. 3, 1933, p. 4 

*His parents are also buried there, though his father is unmarked.
