HARRY EDWARD FOWLER

   HANDSOM - A funeral service for Harry Edward Fowler, 82, will be held today 
at 3 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. Arthur Green, Harry 
W. Bunch and Kenneth Williams.  Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Pallbearers will be: Ben Bryant, J.L. Porter, Simpson Porter, Wilter 
Bishop, Ray Porter, J.C. Johnson, Julian Fowler and Henry Fowler.

   Fowler died Tuesday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Fletcher Stone 
Fowler.  He was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist 
Church, where he was on the official board and was a trustee.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ann Shelton Britt of Handsom.
