Holland and Sons Funeral Chapel by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee Presson, John J. Magee, Herman Harcum, G.C. Duck, Floyd Fowler and Carroll Fowler. Fowler, 49, died Friday in his home. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of Hersey N. Fowler Sr. and Mrs. Ruth Snipes Fowler. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and a lumber inspector for Union Camp Corp. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Doris Laffoon of Indianapolis, Mrs. Lelia Felts of Richmond, and Mrs. Ruby Pierce of Suffolk; and two brothers, Hersey N. Fowler Jr. of Franklin and J. Lee Fowler of Baltimore.
