Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert E. Davis of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter Bishop, George H. Parker Jr., E.D. Priggen, Charlie Wieters, J. Paul Councill Jr., D.L. Johnson, Jack G. Holland and H.L. Gardner Jr. Mrs. Finley, 85, died Monday afternoon in Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Jesse J. Finley and a daughter of William Kirkland and Mrs. Emily Magrath Darby. A native of Charleston, S.C., she lived here 45 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Jesse J. Finley Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Emily F. Fowler both of Franklin; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
