GEORGE DANIEL FORBES

GEORGE D. FORBES

Franklin - George Daniel Forbes, 58, a native of Franklin and a retired Air 
Force veteran, died last night in Maguire Hospital in Richmond

   He was member of Franklin Baptist Church, a husband of Grace Saunders 
Forbes, and a son of Mrs. Myrtle Johnson Forbes and the late Jachin Forbes. 
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by one son, G. Daniel 
Forbes, Jr. of Franklin; two sisters; Mrs. John D'Moch and Mrs. Margaret 
Brown, both of Virginia Beach; three brothers; Dr. David Forbes of Suffolk, 
James Forbes of Florida and Morrisette Forbes of New York, and one 
granddaughter Cary Grace Forbes of Franklin.

   Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Poplar Spring 
Cemetery by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.  The body is at W.J.M. Holland and Sons 
Funeral Home.
