All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WILLIAM CURTIS FORBES William Curtis Forbes, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jachin Forbes of this town, died at Raiford Hospital early yesterday morning, failing to recover from an operation. Besides his parents, he is survived by four brothers, Morrisette, James, George and David Forbes, and two sisters, Miss Margaret Forbes and Sarah Myrtle Forbes. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence in North High Street this (Friday) afternoon at 4 o’clock by Rev. R.D. Stephenson of the Franklin Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. W.B. Denson of Beaver Dam. Interment will be made in Poplar Spring Cemetery, and the active bearers will be his four brothers, and his cousins, Frederick Forbes and Allison Sanderford.
