W. Ferguson, age 57, who died November 9, in a Williamsburg hospital were conducted Sunday afternoon from the home of his brother, Joe F. Ferguson, near Branchville. Mr. Ferguson had been in declining health for several years. He had been a member of the Methodist Church at Newsoms since early childhood and active in all of its services. He was a man of many fine qualities, loyal and faithful to his home and family and a real neighbor to his friends. Services were conducted by Rev. J.L. Kibler, assisted by Rev. Frank B. Handley. Burial was made in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. D.F. Britton of Newsoms; two brothers, Lee Ferguson of Portsmouth and Joe Ferguson of Branchville. Active pallbearers were: S.T. Boothe, E.T. Beale, P.T. Ellis, Claudia Beale, Thos. Grizzard and Lawson Beale. [George W.
