He was the son of the late Stith Lewis and Trymalla Ferguson of the county, and was a member of Barnes Methodist Church. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lila Drake Ferguson; a sister, Mrs. Mary Gray of Newsoms; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held from the late residence at three o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. R.H. Shapland, pastor of Barnes Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Newsoms. Pallbearers were John M. Britt, L.P. Simmons, Hugh Powell, J.T. Story, Jr., Ralph Porter, Fred Worrell, John Wesley Drake, and J. Leroy Dail.
