He is a retired farmer and rural carrier for the Richmond Times Dispatch for fourteen years and a member of the Newsoms Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Anna Joyner Ferguson; two daughters, Dorothy Rose Ferguson and Alice Jane Ferguson; two sons, Frank Wayne Ferguson and Edwin T. Ferguson; one brother, H.L. Ferguson; six sisters, Mrs. C.C. Thorpe, Mrs. James Fuller, Ethel Mae Ferguson, Mrs. Ronnie Holland, Mrs. L.K Moore and Mrs. F.N. Ferguson. The funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel in Wakefield. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Courtland.
