WALTER COBB FERGUSON

   Murfreesboro, N.C. - A funeral service for Walter Cobb Ferguson was conducted 
at 2 p.m. Monday in Murfreesboro United Methodist Church by the Rev. Clingman C. 
Capps. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with Holland Funeral Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were Vaughan Wiggins, Robert Futrell, Archer Parker, Ed Lee, H.B. 
Crumpler, Bob Hill, J. Gay Revelle Jr., Edward Griffith, B.F. Deans and Pat 
Banks.

   Ferguson, 93, died Saturday morning in Roanoke - Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
