FAIRCLOTH ...* brought back to his home in Ivor. The deceased was a native of Southampton county but moved with his parents to Isle of Wight when a little boy. Living in Isle of Wight until the year 1906 he moved to Ivor and entered the mercantile business which he conducted for fourteen years. He was a member of the Ivor Baptist Church and of the Macabees Lodge of Zuni. A kind and indulgent father, of genial and neighborly disposition, he numbered a wide circle of firends and was interested in all the activities of his town and its welfare. He is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs. T.H. Skinner of Franklin, Mrs. L.T. Saunders and Miss Bessie Faircloth of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. F.P. Crumpler of Ivor and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted from the Ivor Baptist Church Monday, December 29, at 11 o'clock a.m. by his pastor, Rev. J.W. Reams, and the body was take to Franklin where interment as made in Poplar Spring Cemetery Monday afternoon with brief services at the grave.
