Faircloth, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home by the Rev. George Kissenger, assisted by the Rev. R.D. Stephenson. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Surviving Mrs. Faircloth are three daughters, Mrs. Thomas H. Skinner, of Franklin; Mrs. L.T. Saunders, of Ivor; Mrs. Holleman, of Surry; one son, J.T. Faircloth, of Ivor; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. R.W. Pond, of Petersburg. ****************************************************************************** LAVINIA CAROLINA CARR FAIRCLOTH Mrs. Lavinia Carolina Faircloth, aged 78, well-known resident of Ivor, widow of Allen J. Faircloth, of Southampton County, and daughter of the late James and Mrs. Penelope English Carr, of Isle of Wight County, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, J.T. Faircloth, after an illness of a few days. Mrs. Faircloth was the oldest member of Ivor Baptist Church, and was a member of the Woman’s Missionary Society. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Thomas H. Skinner of Franklin; Mrs. L.T. Saunders of Ivor, and Mrs. Howard Holloman of Surry; one son, J.T. Faircloth of Ivor; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. R.W. Pond of Petersburg. Services were conducted from the home in Ivor Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev. George Kissinger, assisted by the Rev. R.D. Stephenson of Franklin. Burial followed in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, pallbearers being the following grandsons of the deceased: A.J.
