FAIRCLOTH Mrs. Sarah C. Johnson Faircloth, 80, well known resident of Daytona Beach, Fla., and formerly of Southampton county, died suddenly Thursday, October 31, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Burke, in Daytona Beach. She was the widow of Junius Faircloth and the daughter of the late Jeptha and Mrs. Mary Ann Turner Johnson of Southampton County. She was a member of the Friends Meeting of Daytona Beach, Fla. In addition to Mrs. Burke she is survived by five other daughters, Mrs. William Jennings of Statesville, N.C., Mrs. George Hahn of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Leslie Shaw of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Mrs. William Doar and Mrs. Charles Harris, both of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Patrick H. Faircloth of Richmond and Carl Faircloth of Arlington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin L. Johnson, pastor of the Sedley Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Active pallbearers were William Doar, Robert Shaw, Jr., Patrick Faircloth, Jr., Robert Maxey, Jr., Lewis Hahn, Jr. and William Jennings. [Sarah C.
