ANNIE MABEL WHITLEY WHITLEY DRAKE FERRELL 

   A funeral service for Mrs. Mabel Drake Ferrell, 72, of Rt. 2, Box 294, 
Franklin, was held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Robert D. Bridley and Rev. Harry Bunch.

   Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Pallbearers were W.E. Butler, Walter Story, Marvin Worrell Jr., James 
Carter, Carson Whitley Jr., Gilbert Porter, Lloyd Brett and R.E. Drake Jr.

   A native of Hertford County, N.C. she was the wife of E.L. Ferrell and 
a daughter of James Everett and Mrs. Josie Edwards Whitley.
