Mr. Frances had quite a number of friends in this city, who were present upon the arrival of the remains. Nathaniel "Nat" FRANCIS, d. ca. 2 Jan 1896, age circa 35, possibly interred in Person's Methodist Church Cemetery*, "The Norfolk Virginian," Jan. 5, 1896, p. 5, col. 1 *His father, William Samuel FRANCIS, is buried there, unmarked; his second step-mother, Laura (PERSON) FRANCIS, is also buried there. FRANCIS farm, Bandy Rd. (III-10). Their gravestones (only) were moved to Person's.
