FARMER Lelia Fowler Farmer, 72, died Sept. 9, 2000. Mrs. Farmer was a native of Franklin and was a daughter of the late Hersey and Ruth Fowler. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Ruby F. Pierce of Suffolk, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins officiating. Wright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
