ROBERT GUY GAY

   Robert Guy Gay, 70 died Dec. 23 at Patrick Hospital.  He was a native of 
the Ivor community and a retired farmer.

   He was a son of the late George and Virginia Britt Gay.  He is survived by 
one sister, Sally Matilda Gay of Wakefield; one brother, George Wiley Gay and 
several nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services were conducted at the Purviance Funeral Chapel Dec. 25 at 
3 p.m.

   Burial was in the Gay Family Cemetery near Ivor with Rev. Byron Holloman, 
of the Ivor Baptist Church officiating.

   Pallbearers were Jesse Gay, Oliver Gay, Johnny Gay, Edwin Gay, R.M. Murphy, 
L.R. Bracey, and Melvin Freemen.
