Gaskins, of near Drewryville, died Sunday in a Franklin hospital. She is survived by her husband: three daughters Miss Deliah Gaskins, of Drewryville: Mrs. Margaret Salmon, of Roanoke; five sons, B.J., J.W., A.D., W.L., and G.S. Gaskins, all of Drewryville; nine grandchildren; one brother, R.D. Harris of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and five sisters, Mrs. W.L. Witt, of Roanoke; Mrs. Mollie Melvin and Mrs. Belle Childs, of Petersburg; Mrs. Rosa Livesay, of Roanoke Rapids and Mrs. Virgie Jarrett, of Drewryville. Funeral rites will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday at the residence, with burial in the family cemetery. ****************************************************************************** SUSIE ESTELLE HARRIS GASKINS Mrs. Susie Estelle Gaskins, age 59, died September 29, at Raiford Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, W.A. Gaskins; three daughters, Miss Deliah Gaskins of Drewryville and Mrs. Margaret Salmon and Mrs. Daisy Parks of Roanoke, Va.; five sons, B.J., J.W., A.D., W.L. and G.C. Gaskins, all of Drewryville. Nine grandchildren survive. One brother, R.D. Harris, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and five sisters, Mrs. W.L. Witt of Roanoke, Mrs. Molly Melvin and Mrs. Belle Childs of Petersburg, Mrs. Rosa Livesay of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and Mrs. Virgie Jarratt of Drewryville. Funeral services were held at the residence near Drewryville Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. B. R. Jennings of the Drewryville Baptist Church officiating. The choir sang, "Abide With Me," "Safe In the Arms of Jesus" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer." Active pallbearers were nephews of the deceased. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family.
