Survived by his wife, Mrs. Erma Lee Harris Gaskins; one daughter, Mrs. Diane Gaskins Downs, of Drewryville; three sisters, Mrs. M.C. Parks and Mrs. James T. Salmon, both of Roanoke, and Mrs. Delilah Williams, Suffolk; two brothers, James W. Gaskins of Drewryville, Gerald C. Gaskins, Tokyo, Japan; two grandchildren, Misses Donna Lee and Kathleen Layton Downs of Drewryville. He was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, Drewryville, member of Drewryville Ruritan Club and Drewryville Fire Department. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M. Tuesday with interment in Drewryville Cemetery.
