Gillette, died in the home of her parents, March 13 after an illness of several days, age 6 months and 10 days. She is survived by her parents and two sisters, Mary Saunders and Evelyn Thomas Gillette. Funeral services were conducted at the grave Saturday afternoon, March 14, by Rev. S.K. Emurian of Suffolk. "Safe In the Arms of Jesus" was sung and Rev. S.K. Emurian, Mrs. R.H. Bradshaw and Mrs. L.E. Beale sang "Jewels." The little body was laid to rest among a profusion of flowers in the family cemetery, the pallbearers being: Louis, Cecil and Percy Gillette and Louis Davis.
