MARY ELLA GILLETTE

Miss Mary Ella Gillette, 92, of Capron, died Saturday in East Pavilion of 
Southampton Memorial Hospital.  She was a native of Southampton County and 
a member of the Capron United Methodist Church, WCTU and United Methodist 
Women. She attended the Euphradian Institute in Franklin and the Peabody 
Institute, N.Y.  Surviving are nieces and nephews.  A graveside funeral 
service will be conducted at 3:30 today at the Capron Cemetery by the Rev. 
James E. Scott, Jr.  The family suggest that memorials be made to the Capron 
United Methodist Church and will at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gillette of 
Capron.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge of arrangements.
