ADDIE R. GRAY

   Mrs. Addie R. Gray died at her home near Franklin Thursday, January 20, 
in her 66th year, following a long period of ill health.  She had been a 
consistent member of Nottoway Chapel M.E. Church for many years, and was a 
good wife and mother.  Her husband has been dead for a number of years and 
she is survived by six sons, R.L., J.F., and Robert S. Gray of Franklin, 
W.R. and M.A. Gray of Suffolk, and Fenton C. Gray of Richmond, and one 
daughter, Mrs. Eva E. Watson of Emporia.

   Funeral services will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock 
and interment will be made in the old Gray family burying ground near Capron, 
Rev. L.T. Williams and Rev. R.D. Stephenson conducted the services.
