DECIE ALLEN GRAY

   NEWSOMS - Funeral services for Decie Allen Gray, 65, were held Friday in 
Barnes United Methodist Church by the Rev. Arthur Green.  Burial was in 
Beechwood cemetery, Boykins, with McDowell Funeral Home in charge.

   Gray died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

   She was a native of Southampton County and the wife of Edward C. Gray. 
She was a member of Barnes United Methodist Church.

   Other survivors include a son, Edward Norfleet Gray of Suffolk; two 
sisters, Lizzie A. Spence of Branchville and Inez Gay of Franklin; three 
brothers, Eldridge Allen of Boykins, Horace Allen of Franklin, and Bernard 
Allen of Hampton; and two grandchildren.
