Gray of the community died Saturday, April 28, at his home after an illness of several months. He was fifty years of age. Mr. Gray was a quiet, honest, Christian gentleman, a member of Whitehead’s church for many years. He is survived by an aged mother and four sisters. He remarked to his mother many times during his illness that he was ready and willing to go, but it grieved him to think of leaving her. It is comfort to know that he is resting on that "Golden Shore" waiting to clasp his mother’s hand on the Resurrection Morn. Interment was made in the family burying ground Sunday afternoon. J.F.
