All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JUNIUS FLEETWOOD GRAY Junie Fleetwood Gray, 52, well-known resident of the Franklin community, died at his home near Franklin community, died at his home near Franklin last Friday night after an illness of a few days. He was the son of the late Riddick and Addie Gray, of Southampton County, and husband of Ester E. Gray. He was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church and Bruner Bible Class. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven sons, Otis of Richmond, Jasper, Norwood, Patrick, Robert, Paul Douglas and Willard Gray of Franklin; one daughter, Pauline Gray, of Franklin; five brothers, R.L. and R.S. Gray of Franklin, W.R. Gray of Suffolk, M.A. Gray of Norfolk and F.C. Gray of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Eva Watson of Roanoke Rapids, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 12:15 o’clock from the chapel of the Holland Funeral Home in Franklin by the Rev. R.D. Stephenson. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery here with the following pallbearers: Sidney Barrett, W. Mack Thompson, William Cobb, John Scott, R.L. McClenny, Billy Harcum, J.C. Presson and Franklin Whitfield.
