Gray, with whom he had made his home for several years. Burial services were conducted at the grave in Newsoms Cemetery Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Rev. J.L. Kibler of the Boykins Methodist Church and Rev. F.B. Handley of the Boykins Baptist Church. Mr. Gray was a member of Barnes M. E. Church. Surviving are four children, J.B. Gray, J.H. Gray, L.F. Gray and Mrs. Ezra Drake all of Newsoms; two sisters, Mrs. T.H. Porter of Boykins, and Mrs. Bill Cook of Newsoms; two brothers, C. E. Gray and Ben Gray of Newsoms and Peter Gray of Handsom. Active pallbearers were Russell Drake, J.Q. Worrell, J.C. Bunn, J.W. Drake, W.B. Ivey and J.T. Ivey. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family.
