JOSEPH HENRY GRAY, IV

Joseph Henry Gray, IV, age 15, of Route 2, Courtland, died Wednesday, 
June 27, 1979, at his home from a tractor accident.  He was a native of 
Southampton County and the son of Joseph Henry and Betty Jane Pearce Gray. 
He was a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church and a student at 
Southampton Academy.  Other survivors include his sister, Mrs. Joanne 
Roebuck of Franklin; a brother, Michael Dennis Gray of the home; maternal 
grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Pearce; paternal grandparents, Leroy and 
Maria Gray Magette; all of Sebrell.  A funeral service will be held Friday 
at 3 P.M. in Sebrell United Methodist Church.  Burial in Riverside Cemetery, 
Courtland.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge of arrangements.
