Gray, died at her home in Newsoms Monday night, January 10, after several months of ill health. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Drake and Mrs. Owen Smith; two sons, C.F. Gray and B.C. Gray, all of Newsoms; three step-sons, Kelly Gray of Boykins, Percy Gray of Statesville and Jesse Gray of Florida; one brother, J.B. Ferguson of Boykins, and several grandchildren. Burial services were held at the grave in Newsoms cemetery Wednesday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. C.P. Cleveland of Newsoms Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. F.B. Handley, pastor of the Boykins Baptist Church. Active pallbearers were: J.W. Drake, Owen Smith, Kelly Gray, Percy Gray, C.F. Gray and B.C. Gray. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Sometime We’ll Understand" were sung at the grave. Sallie Josephine (FERGUSON; Mrs. R.
