She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Griffin of Boykins and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.D. Ward of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Mrs. A.P. Minshew of Boykins, and a brother, J.E. Griffin of Petersburg. The funeral was held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Minshew, in Boykins Sunday afternoon by Rev. Frank B. Handley and burial took place in Beechwood Cemetery. A quartette composed of Miss Emily Hines, Mrs. A.M. Williams, Mrs. Earl W. Bryant and Mrs. H.M. Purviance sang "Will There be Any Stars in My Crown?" and "Gathering Home." The pallbearers were S.J. Wilson, C.T. Beaton, F.R. Stephenson, W.P Gray, C.P. Spencer, T.H. Porter, Lewis Bryant and H.G. Coleman.
