FLOYD GRIFFIN DIES SUN., SEPT. 30 William Floyd Griffin, farmer of Black Creek community, died at a Suffolk hospital Sunday morning, Sept. 30th after an illness of a few weeks. Mr. Griffin was the husband of Mrs. Musa Britt Griffin of Franklin and son of Mrs. Indiana Hatfield Griffin and the late William M. Griffin of Franklin community. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World Lodge of Walters. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by one son, William Floyd Griffin, Jr.; three daughters, Miss Annie May Griffin, Jean Frances and Carolyn Fay Griffin, all of Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. W.F. Edwards and Mrs. Hunter Blythe of Franklin; Mrs. T.L. Carter of Walters, and Mrs. S.T. Spivey of Smithfield. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. W.B.
