Brittle. He died Dec. 22 in Norfolk General Hospital. He lived at 104 Hickory Neck Lane, Suffolk. He was a native of Gastonia, N.C., and a son of Mrs. Bessie Pridgen George of Chesapeake. He was retired from Union-Camp Corp. and was a member of Holland Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Parker of Suffolk; four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Radford, Mrs. Alice Newsom, and Miss Marie George of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Mae Crompton of Oklahoma; two brothers, Raymond B. George of Suffolk and Franklin W. George of West German; and two grandchildren.
