FRANKLIN PIERCE GRIZZARD

   Franklin Pierce Grizzard, age 84, well-known resident of the county died at 
his home near Capron Saturday night, April 27, after an illness of six years.

   Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Zula Oberry Grizzard; two sons, R.G. 
Grizzard of Suffolk and R.L. Grizzard, member of the Board of Supervisors for 
Drewryville District.

   Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock 
conducted by Rev. A.W. Coates of Drewryville, assisted by Rev. H.R. Hamilton. 
Burial was made in the family cemetery, the active pallbearers being W.E., 
Marion, O.L. and William S. Grizzard, Henry Oberry, H.C. Hollomon, Nelson 
Starke and M.F. Partridge.

The death certificate (1912, #5421) for his daughter Wilhelmina/Wilhelminer
