GEORGE FRANKLIN GRIZZARD

Kenbridge - George Franklin Grizzard, 59, died Thursday in the Veterans 
Hospital at Salem, VA.  A retired employee of the Farmers Home Administration 
and a veteran of World War II, he was a long time resident of Kenbridge, Va. 
He was born and educated at South Hampton [sic] and was a graduate of Michigan 
State University. 

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gladys G. Grizzard; two sons, Bob Grizzard and 
Eddie Horton, both of Kenbridge; two brothers, Dr. W.S. Grizzard of Petersburg 
and Alton L. Grizzard of Richmond; and one sister, Miss Alice E. Grizzard of 
Fairfax.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Clark Funeral Home in 
Kenbridge, with burial at 3 p. m. in Drewryville near Capron Va.
