He was a member of Barnes Methodist Church, Newsoms. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jack Ballew of Greensville, S.C., Mrs. William T. Nelson of Suffolk, Mrs, Fred Phillips of Greer, S.C., and Mrs. Robert Broocke of Franklin; two sons Bertram L. Grizzard of Drewryville and Winfrey T. Grizzard of Lawrenceville; one brother, Winfrey W. Grizzard of Amelia; one half-sister, Mrs. Louise Bateson of Sandusky, Ohio; one half- brother, Emmett M. Story, Jr., of Annandale, Va.; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted 4 P.M. Thursday. Interment in Capron Cemetery.
