HENRY EZELLE GRIZZARD

Henry Ezelle Grizzard, 65, died Monday at the Franklin hospital.  Surviving 
are his wife, Mrs. Virginia N. Grizzard; his mother Mrs. Effie E. Grizzard; 
four sons, Walter H. Grizzard of Smithfield, Norfleet Grizzard of Drewryville, 
John L. Grizzard of Ft. Bragg, N.C. and Peyton B. Grizzard of the marines in 
Japan; seven daughters, Mrs. H.O. Hughes, Mrs. Alvin Eubanks and Mrs. Ethel 
Robinson, all of Richmond; Mrs. J.S. Ellis of Stony Creek, Mrs. E.H. Emory of 
Glen Allen, Mrs. G.R. Reynolds of Raleigh and Mrs. Kinston Smith of Como, 
N.C.; a brother, Monroe Grizzard of Drewryville; four sisters, Mrs. E.M. Lilly 
and Miss Clyde Grizzard of Drewryville, Mrs. L.W. Brooks of Chase City and 
Mrs. Bernard Andrews of Wakefield; 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. 
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Drewryville Methodist 
Church, with burial in Drewryville Cemetery.
