Gregory, 58, of the 400 block of Crescent Drive, died July 24, in a hospital. Mr. Gregory, a native of Perquimans County, N.C., was an employee of Southampton Memorial Hospital and a deacon and assistant Sunday School secretary for Franklin Baptist Church. He was a member of Franklin Jaycees and Woodman of the World and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include a daughter, Tracy L. Gregory of Franklin; a son, Thomas F. Gregory of Richmond; two sisters, Janie G. Tillett of Franklin and Geraldine G. Byrd of Hampton. The funeral was held July 27 in Franklin Baptist Church by the Revs. Michael J. Clingenpeel, Ira D. Hudgins and Sharon E. James. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Chapter of the American Cancer Society of Franklin Baptist Memorial Church Fund. Wright Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
