Green, 82, of the 500 block of Ashton Ave., died May 22, in a nursing home. Mr. Green, a native of Halifax, N.C., was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. and was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church, Newport News. Survivors include his wife, Ruth C. Green; three daughters, Virginia B. Bryant of Sedley, Doris G. Nicholson of Newport News, and Marie Holliman of Wilmington, N.C.; three sons Michael W. Green of Franklin, and William D. Green, Jr. and Robert F. Green, both of Hampton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Sunday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home Chapel, Franklin, by the Rev.
