Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mable Garner; three daughters, Mrs. Gayle G. Durica, Portsmouth, Mrs. Janet G. Fish, Athens Ga., and Mrs. Fay Monica Nickle, Elkton, Md.; one son, William O. Garner, Polk Air Force Base, Fayetteville, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Partridge, Drewryville; eight grandchildren. Graveside services 2 P.M. Sunday, Drewryville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the William Joseph Garner Memorial Fund at the First Baptist Church, 158 W. Main St., Elkton, Md. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia.
