Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were C.P. Edwards, W.D. Joyner Jr., H.H. Chappell, Russell W. Owens, Mills Bradshaw, C.M. Drewry, W. Bryan Hancock and Marion Joyner. High died Thursday morning in Hampton Veterans Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was son of Mrs. Frances Bradshaw High and the late Oscar J. High. He was a member of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church, Sedley. Besides his mother, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. J.N. Hale of Courtland and Mrs. R.E. Velines of Rocky Mount, N.C.
