All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JOSEPHINE HASTY Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Josephine Hasty, aged 58 years, at the family burial ground near Seaboard, N.C. Mrs. Hasty died Friday at the home of her brother, J.R. Hasty, with whom she made her home, near Seaboard, after a long illness. She was the widow of the late William Hasty and lived most of her married life in the Capron community, being a member of the Capron Baptist Church for 36 years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Kale of Galatia Baptist Church of Seaboard. Mrs. Hasty is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Vincent of Conway, N.C., three sons, Percy L. Hasty of Sebrell, Joe H. Hasty of Dendron and Amos Hasty of Emporia; two brothers, J.R. Hasty and C.J. Hasty of Seaboard, N.C., and 13 grandchildren. Josephine C. "Josie" (HASTY; Mrs. G.
