Hedgepeth of the Handsom community, died at her home May 18, 1916, in her 52nd year. She was a noble Christian woman, a consistent member of Mt. Horeb M.E. church. In the absence of her pastor, Rev. A.L. Carson, the funeral services were conducted at her home on the day following her death by Dr. C.H. Rowland of Franklin. She is survived by her husband and five children.
