Hedgepeth COURTLAND - Mrs. Martha Dickerson Hedgepeth, 57, of 108 Colonial St. died Monday evening in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Herman and Paul Hedgepeth and a daughter of Richard H. and Mrs. Lizzie Bowden Dickerson. She was a member of Courtland Baptist Church and employed by the Hancock Peanut Company. Besides her husband surviving are, two sons, James Emory Hedgepeth, of Colonial Heights and Herman P. Hedgebeth Jr. of Durham, N.C., two sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Edwards of Suffolk and Mrs. Nannie Dell Leonard of Zuni; two brothers, Oscar J. Dickerson of Ivor, and Joseph H. Dickerson of Newport News; and three granddaughters. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home, Franklin. Funeral arrangements are pending. ****************************************************************************** MARTHA DICKERSON HEDGEPETH Mrs. Martha Dickerson Hedgepeth, age 57, of 108 Colonial St., Courtland, Va., died Monday, April 14, 1975, in a Franklin hospital. She was the wife of Herman Paul Hedgepeth. She is also survived by two sons, James Emory Hedgepeth of Colonial Heights and Herman P. Hedgepeth, Jr. of Durham, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Edwards of Suffolk and Mrs. Nannie Bell Leonard of Zuni; two brothers, Oscar James Dickerson of Ivor and Joseph Henry Dickerson of Newport News; three granddaughters. A funeral service will be held Wednesday (today) at 3 P.M. in the W.J.M Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
