Mrs. Annie L. Howell

FRANKLIN - Mrs. Annie Lou Lankford Howell, 74, died Thursday afternoon in 
Roanoke Rapids (N.C.) Hospital.

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Joseph Richard Howell 
and a daughter of Jessie and Mrs. Louise Lankford.

  She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

  Surviving are a daughter Jo Ann Howell Rose of Franklin, and five 
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial will be in Poplar Springs 
Cemetery.

ANNIE LOU LANKFORD HOWELL 

   A funeral service for Mrs. Annie Lou Lankford Howell was conducted Saturday 
at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.  Burial 
was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Johnny Lankford, Morgan Lankford, Edward Lankford, Cliff 
Lankford, Bernard Lankford and Robert Lankford.

   Mrs. Howell, 74, died Thursday afternoon in Roanoke Rapids (N.C.) Hospital.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Joseph Richard Howell 
and a daughter of Jessie and Mrs. Louise Bracey Lankford.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Howell Rose of Franklin, and five 
grandchildren.
