CARLSON LEE HOWELL

   Carlson Lee Howell, four-day-old son of William and Helen Rose Howell of 
the Franklin community, died Tuesday, February 14, at Raiford Memorial 
Hospital.

   Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, William H. Howell, 3d, 
and John Fletcher Howell.

   Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the grave in Poplar 
Spring Cemetery by Rev. Randolph Gregory, pastor of the Franklin Baptist 
Church.
