He was the husband of Mrs. Pattie Williams Hall. A native of Georgia, he lived in the Franklin community 27 years. He was a son of E. Vander and Mrs. Cornelia Hall. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, Elmer Kermit Hall and Charles Dunn Hall of Franklin and John Allen Hall Jr. of Richmond; four daughters, Mrs. Irma H. Rawls, Mrs. Francis H. Lowe, Mrs. Gale H. Tawney and Miss Ruby Hall of Franklin; five brothers, Braxton Hall of Norristown, Pa., Cary Hall of Houston, Norman Hall of Albuquerque, N.M., and R.E. Hall of Franklin; and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Fridley of High Street Methodist Church. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Cemetery.
