JENNIE SCOTT HILL 

Mrs. Jennie Scott Hill, 100, a native of Hertford County, N.C., died Saturday, 
August 9, 1986 in her home in Sedley, Va.  She was the widow of Roland Hill 
and a member of Courtland Baptist Church.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. 
Ida Freeman of Suffolk, Mrs. Virginia Chapman of Smithfield and Mrs. Rosa 
Yonce of LaVale, Md.; two sons, A. Thomas Hill, Smithfield and Winfield Hill 
of Richmond, eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.  The funeral will 
be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Courtland Baptist Church by the Rev. 
Darrell A. Smith and Warren F. Taylor.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, 
Courtland.  Memorials may be made to the Courtland Rescue Squad or Courland 
Baptist Church.  The family will be at the residence. Wright Funeral Home, 
Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
