Ivor - Funeral services for John L. Hall Sr., 63, were held Wednesday in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Revs. L. P. Bland and Lytle Buckingham. Burial with Masonic rites was in Ivor cemetery. Hall died Monday in DePaul Hospital, Norfolk. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Hazel Jones Hall. He was retired after 39 years with Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydocking. He was a member of Ivor United Methodist Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Ivor Masonic Lodge 291, a charter member of Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, and a member of Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk, and the Suffolk Shrine Club. Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. John R. Harris of Richmond; a son, John L. Hall of Petersburg; a daughter, Pamela H. Pulley of Ivor; a sister, Selma H. Pulley of Central Hill; and a grandson. [John L.
