Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Darden Battle of Sycamore Baptist Church and the Rev. Vivian Evans, a former pastor. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Calvin Burgess, George T. Burgess, Jr., Pat Cotton, Sr., Leroy Vaughan, John Moody, Jesse Frank Vaughan, Henry Wethington and Otto Harcum. Holland, 64, a retired merchant and farmer died Sunday morning in a Norfolk Hospital. A native of Southampton Co., he was the son of Robert E. and Nora Harcum Holland. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother Robert E. Holland, Jr. of Lumberton, NC, a sister Mrs. Robert (Virginia) K. Stephenson of Emporia.
